LaFosse has produced numerous butterfly designs over the years. He often christens them after loved ones, or people who have exerted a strong influence on his art. This particular species has been named in honour of Mr. Makoto Yamaguchi - the founder of Origami House and tireless promoter of the art of paper-folding.
